7Generations is transforming tourism. We envision tourism and hospitality as catalysts for a profound, global paradigm shift: one where every destination is recognized as a vital part of an intelligent and interconnected web of life that sustains us all. We are calling in practitioners, enthusiasts, and leaders in the field of regenerative tourism. From November 5-7th, 2026, we will be hosting an (un)Summit on Camiguin Island, Philippines.
To us, regenerative tourism adds to the vitality of the destination —its land and people— and of the guests. We recognize that places and communities, like all living systems, have an innate intelligence and capacity to thrive. We are responding to the urgent call of our living planet Earth and all its communities to reimagine how we care for us and for the places we inhabit and visit.
In this concept note you can find out more about our dreams, goals and the Regenerative Tourism (un)Summit. Or take a sneak peak in the article we published in the Hotel Yearbook 2026.
Hosted by the 7Generations, this (un)Summit will bring together people from the Philippines and beyond. We invite you to join us for a three-day deep dive into the philosophy and practice of regenerative tourism.
Day 1: Welcome, introduction and sharing of experience
Day 2: Regeneration in practice
Day 3: Sketching solutions and next steps
Come as a participant to learn and practice. Become a partner to amplify the impact or join a Regional Circle to help shape the movement. Together, we can redefine travel, tourism and hospitality through regeneration.
Regional Circles are regionally anchored communities. They are the starting points for the creation of a global network and collectively support the preparation for the (un)Summit. They send delegates to the (un)Summit to share experience and learn. Want to find out more about the Regional Circles? Click here.
We are excited to hear from you soon!
Valerie Asch (Camiguin Island, Philippines), Mahé Besson (Vevey, Switzerland), Stephanie Langerock (Chile), Pascal Walther (Bern, Switzerland) and Matti Straub-Fischer (Bern, Switzerland).
